#LTMA’20 WHERE OLD SCHOOL ADVICE MEETS NEW SCHOOL THINKING…

STATE LIBRARY VICTORIA - February 11, 12 & 13 2020

We are not your normal financial advice conference – Less Talk | More Action means just that!
Two and a half days of action-packed workshops, breakouts, plenary sessions and pop up preso’s
PLUS our super unique “Collaboration Zone” where our Teachers (presenters and coaches) actually help you LIVE and one on one, to turn some of your new school ideas into practical solutions while you’re at LTMA’20!!!

So who should come along?

Our conference is built for any current or aspiring Financial Adviser that is focused on starting, growing or re-launching their firm to become “2020’s Advice Ready”. Partners in the industry are also welcome to join us as well.

We’ve have ticket options for each of our attendee types (Current Adviser or Business Owner,Aspiring Adviser & Industry Crew) so please make sure you choose the ticket option that is right for your role in the industry.

How is the conference style different?

Simple – we’ve taken the best bits of every single Finance conference we’ve been to over the past 10 years and stuck them all together. That means there is less sessions in total, but more impact from the sessions you choose to attend.

This year we’ve added in 5 pre-conference half day workshops as well as a BONUS incentive for our Early Bird registrations… numbers are STRICTLY LIMITED so make sure you register early to avoid missing out.

Finally because our goal is to add as much value as we can to our #LTMA’20 community as possible, we’ve decided to cap the number of attendees at 200
This maximises the time each attendee has with our Teachers and ensures our boutique and ‘indi’ vibe from #LTMA19 continues this year.

Workshop SynopsisAustralia has one of the best education systems in the developed world - with lots of options available across the education journey from kindergarten through to tertiary, with options to suit all family types and budgets. Despite the number of free education options available, some form of 'private' education remains a top priority for their kids... to give them the best possible start in life.

So why is it that most Financial Planners don't list "Education Planning" as part of their standard value proposition to GenXY clients?

Simple really... they don't have a tried and tested advice model that they know will help them navigate a very emotive conversation with their clients, ultimately leading to some great personalised advice...

If you join our teachers in this session - we promise to help you build your own Education Planning advice model to use with all your current and prospective parents.

Financial planning software, a super and investment platform, a company website, a CRM system and the cloud (for office tools and document management) are "foundation" elements of the AdviceTech stack of all businesses. But what other AdviceTech solutions should your business be rolling out?

According to the 2019 Netwealth AdviceTexh Research Report almost one in two advice businesses have a clearly defined AdviceTech Roadmap for the next 12 months and a further one in five have a roadmap for the next 2 years.

Our Advicetech Roadmap workshop will help you prioritise technology solutions and develop an AdviceTech Roadmap for your business.

Identifying your best next projects - Business Upgrade & Automation (Part 2)

Wouldn't it be great if we could wave a magic wand and the business could go from where it is now, to where we would love it to be? Unfortunately, the reality is more complicated than that and requires us to constantly reassess what is important and what is just "noisy". In fact technology implementation is just on of the many draws on our time and focus and so somehow we need to work out what we have that is immediately of concern and what might be a great project to complete, but isn't critical right now.

During this part of the workshop, we will still step through a technique that helps us to draw out the challenges in our business, and then prioritises which ones will have the biggest immediate impact on the team as a whole. Not only will you experience this technique as a participant, you will also walk away with the tools and cheat sheets to enable you to run one of these workshops yourself back in the office.
